Evan Michael. Fashion Designer. Thinker. Concept Artist.

Originally from Kennebunk Maine, this Boston-based designer creates wearable art, bringing his artistic visions, inspirations, and concepts to life through fashion design.

Evan Michael graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a BFA in Fashion Design in 2013. He has been working throughout the New England fashion industry since the summer of 2014. He is currently signed with Team Artists Rep in Boston, does freelance illustrations for FGF LLC, and creates runway samples for award winning Boston designer Firas Yousif Originals. He is most proud of being mentored by the late Marilyn Riseman, showing three capsule collections at her annual luncheons in Boston, being asked to present a collection at StyleWeek NorthEast in Providence RI directly after graduation, being selected for the 'Expressions:Faces of Boston Fashion' portrait exhibit, as well as featured in the book 'Emerging Designers IV.' With his background in clothing design and construction Evan brings a strong attention to detail, a unique point of view, and diverse skill set to any type of project. Using the fundamentals of design and elements of art, Evan also has a passion for prop styling, store visuals, and conceptual development.

Psychology and human emotion is a common thread stitched through most of his personal design work. His conceptually based fashions create a thought provoking and visceral experience with inspirations ranging from reflective angels neglected outside of Heaven's gate to the church's condemnation of sexuality and fetishistic exploration or his life changing experience with Vipassana Meditation.
